IDABO Membership is comprised of  Building Departments, Contractors, Suppliers and Design Professionals from all over  the state of Idaho and neighboring states.  Our goal is to provide training and education on the building codes and to keep our members informed of industry happenings.  

Based upon discussions at board meetings, public listening sessions, and stakeholder meetings;

the first version of redlines for the IDAPA 24.39.30 rule chapter is available on DOPL’s Rulemaking website:  

The PDF is available for all industry stakeholders to review prior to the upcoming

negotiated rulemaking meeting scheduled on June 13^th 2023.

The June meeting will be the first of two negotiated rulemaking meetings to discuss the

proposed changes to the rules and to provide feedback or any recommendations for the board to consider.

Please submit comments to DOPL and Michael Hyde no later than June 7, 2023.
