Salary I:   $16.90 or higher DOE

Planner I - Responds to inquiries & provides info. to public; reviews permits for compliance w/local, state, & federal regs. Reqs. BA/BS in geography, landscape arch, urban or regional planning or related field or completion of college courses for an AA/AS & 2 yrs of exp. related to land use planning.

Planner II - Guides applicants through planning process on development appls. such as sub-divisions, conditional use permits.  Reqs. BA/BS in geography, landscape arch., urban or regional planning or related field, & 2 yrs. of college courses for yrs of exp. related to land use planning.

Plans Examiner Building & Planning Dept.

Salary: $16.90 or higher DOE

Reviews res., indl., & comm. bldg. plans & other construction plans for permits relative to structural integrity & occupant safety. Chks for compliance w/codes & ord. relative to bldg. structure, mech., fire safety & energy; principles & techs. of bldg. Insp., structural design & plan review process. Reqs: H.S. Diploma/ GED & 4 yrs rel. exp. or equiv. comb. of educ/exper; valid DL. Must posses or be able to obtain within 12 mos. an ICC Bldg. Insp. or Plans Exam. Cert.
